Terms of service
Last updated 15 September 2026
1. Definitions
- Workspace: a Skybase account on its own subdomain with its own database, created by an Administrator.
- Administrator: a user who manages the workspace, its people and its billing.
- Team Member: a user who can work across the workspace's projects.
- Multi-Project Guest: an external collaborator who has been added to more than one project.
- Single-Project Guest: an external collaborator, typically a client, who has access to exactly one project.
2. Your account and workspace
You must provide accurate details, keep your password secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. The Administrator who creates a workspace is responsible for the people they invite and for what those people do in it.
3. Roles and guests
Guests can view the projects they are invited to, comment, upload files, approve or reject files when asked, and create and edit their own jobs. Guests cannot create or manage projects, job types or other people's jobs. A Single-Project Guest becomes a Multi-Project Guest automatically when added to a second project.
4. Plans, billing and seats
The Free plan includes up to 5 users and 2 GB of file storage. Pro is billed per user at $3.99 per user per month or $39.90 per user per year, plus applicable taxes, through Stripe. Administrators, Team Members and Multi-Project Guests are users; Single-Project Guests are never billed. Seat counts are synchronised automatically as people are added or removed. Coupons apply where offered. Invoices are available as PDFs in your workspace. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.
5. Free plan limits
When a Free workspace reaches its user or storage limit, no further users or files can be added until the workspace upgrades. Existing content is not removed or locked.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Skybase to store or share unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, to attempt to access other workspaces, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms.
7. Your content
You own what you put into Skybase. You grant us the licence needed to host, back up, index, display and transmit it to the people you share it with and to the integrations you connect. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
8. Integrations and third-party services
Slack, GitHub, Google, Trello exports and Claude by Anthropic are provided by third parties under their own terms. Connecting them sends the data those integrations need and is at your discretion.
9. AI features
Task suggestions and agent runs are generated by Claude and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review suggestions before creating tasks. You remain responsible for the work.
10. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is by email at support@skybase.it; Pro workspaces receive priority handling.
11. Suspension, termination and your data
An Administrator can request deletion of a workspace; we confirm the request by email before carrying it out. We may suspend or terminate a workspace for breach of these terms or non-payment, with notice where practicable. After termination we delete workspace data from active systems within a reasonable period and from backups thereafter.
12. Warranties and liability
Skybase is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and limit our total liability to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed on legal review.
14. Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and update the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
