Everything is on every plan
Skybase has no add-ons and no feature tiers. The Free plan and Pro have the same features. Pro is for teams past 5 users, and adds 100 GB of storage and priority support.
What clients cost
If clients work with you in the tool, check what each plan charges for them.
Skybase
A client invited to one project is a single-project guest, free on either plan. They see that project and the people on it, and can comment, upload and approve files. Add the same person to a second project and they count as a user.
monday.com
According to its help centre, guests “are not included” on Basic. On Standard, “every 4 guests count as 1 billed seat”, and Pro includes an “unlimited number of guests”. Its pricing page also lists “Unlimited free viewers”, who have read-only access.
What Skybase doesn't do
If your team relies on any of these, check which monday.com plans include them before you switch.
- No time tracking, timesheets or budgets.
- No Gantt charts or timeline view. Projects have a board, a table and a calendar.
- No native mobile apps. Skybase works in a phone's browser.
- No SAML single sign-on. You can sign in with Google.
- No links between jobs, such as one job waiting on another.
- No import from monday.com. The only importer is for Trello boards.
Moving over from monday.com
There's no importer for monday.com, so you start fresh. Moving one client at a time keeps it manageable.
- 1 Create a project for your first client, and rename its columns to match how the work moves.
- 2 Invite your team as team members.
- 3 Add the live work as jobs, with due dates, and attach files that need sign-off with approval requested.
- 4 Invite the client to the project as a single-project guest. It's free.
- 5 Finish the work already in flight where it is, then move the next client.

Is Skybase cheaper than monday.com?
At US list prices billed annually, checked on 29 September 2026, Skybase Pro is $39.90 per user per year and monday.com Basic, its cheapest paid plan, is $108.00: 63% less per user. For a team of 10, that's $399.00 a year against $1,080.00. Prices exclude tax, and Skybase is free for up to 5 users.
Do clients cost extra?
Not on Skybase: a client on one project is a free single-project guest, on either plan. On monday.com, the help centre says guests “are not included” on Basic, that on Standard “every 4 guests count as 1 billed seat”, and that Pro includes an “unlimited number of guests”.
Can I import my boards from monday.com?
No. Skybase imports Trello boards only, so projects from monday.com start fresh. Moving one client at a time, as above, keeps the switch small.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Skybase is free for up to 5 users, with every feature, 2 GB of storage and no credit card. On monday.com, the free plan is described as a “Free forever plan, up to 2 seats”.
What doesn't Skybase do?
Skybase doesn't track time or budgets, has no Gantt charts or timeline view, no native mobile apps, no SAML single sign-on and no links between jobs, and it can't import from monday.com. If your team relies on any of these, check which monday.com plans include them on its pricing page before you switch.
Are these prices in my currency?
No. They're US list prices, billed annually, excluding tax. Prices in other currencies, tax and any discounts differ, and each company's pricing page says how much paying yearly saves.
