The board
The Northwind Rebrand board with Brief, In progress and Client review columns. Priya drags “Logo lockups, final round” from In progress to Client review and its status turns to In review, then the same jobs switch to the table view.
Drag a card to another column to move it, and drag a column by its header to reorder the board. Everyone on the project sees the change as it happens.
A column's menu can Rename it, Select all its jobs, Archive all jobs in it, or Delete column once it is empty. Comfortable and Compact change how much each card shows.
On a phone the board shows one column at a time, with the columns as tabs along the top. Hold a card to drag it, or use its move button to pick a column.
Change many jobs at once
-
Step 1: Hover over a card and tick its checkbox, or choose Select all from a column's menu.
-
Step 2: In the bar that appears, choose Move to, Assign to, Set status, Set priority or Archive.
-
Step 3: Press Esc or choose Clear when you are done.
The same bar works in the table. Archived jobs leave the board and can be restored from the project settings.
The table
The Northwind Rebrand jobs as a table grouped by priority: Critical, Important, Normal and Low groups with their counts, columns for title, status, priority, assignee, due date and tasks, and an Export CSV button. The saved view “My critical jobs” is on screen. “Brand guidelines v3”, three days overdue, is raised from Important to Critical and moves into the Critical group.
The table lists every job in the project, not just the first few in each column.
- Group
- Group the rows by Column, Status, Assignee or Priority, or choose None.
- Columns
- Show or hide fields such as Due, Tasks, Updated, Type and Comments.
- Sort

- Rename
- Choose the pencil beside a title, or press F2. Enter saves and Esc cancels.
- Export CSV
- Downloads the rows exactly as they are shown.
- Keyboard
- j and k move between jobs, o opens one and x selects it. Shift-click a checkbox to select a range.
Tip: Your columns and grouping follow your account to any device. The sort is kept for each project.
The calendar
The calendar view on a phone: a month of days with dots where jobs are due and Thursday 15 October picked, listing its four jobs with their status and assignee, and the jobs with no date below.
-
Step 1: Open Calendar to see the month's due dates. Today and the arrows move between months.
-
Step 2: Jobs with no due date wait in the Unscheduled tray. Drag one onto a day to give it that date.
-
Step 3: Drag a job to another day to reschedule it, or back to the tray to clear its date.
On jobs you can change, Set date… picks a date or chooses Remove date without dragging. On a phone the month becomes a day-by-day agenda, and Set date… is how you reschedule.
Completed jobs stay out of the tray, so it only holds work that still needs a date.
Priorities and due dates
Every job has one of four priorities: Critical, Important, Normal or Low. A job nobody has set counts as Normal.
Due dates read the way you would say them: Today, Tomorrow, in 3d, then the date. Overdue jobs say how late they are, like 2d overdue.
